PENTA Interviews Chick-fil-A Restaurant Owner/Operator Mike Lawson
(Westborough) – Premiering on April 10, 2020, Top Growth TV features a new episode of its popular program and podcast. Top Growth TV Host and CEO of PENTA Communications, Inc. Deborah Penta, sits down with Westborough Chick-fil-A Restaurant Owner/Operator and Clark University graduate Mike Lawson, to discuss the franchise’s very first location in Central Massachusetts. The interview delves into the restaurant’s entry into the regional market, along with discussing its marketing, growth, and expansion into the Northeast.
Westborough welcomed one of the nation’s largest fast food chicken chains to its community in Fall of 2014, introducing Chick-fil-A’s brand and its well-known “Eat Mor Chikin” cow mascot to the market. It’s debut into the region brought corporate team members to Massachusetts who joined grand opening guests including business leaders, dignitaries, elected officials, and residents with great fanfare. Approximately 80 new jobs were created; schools, non-profits, and community groups gained a tremendous supporter.
The popular restaurant brand earned the Westborough Economic Development Committee’s Annual Year in Review Foodservice Award that same year.
With a refreshingly innovative approach to customer service and a true commitment to quality and fostering community spirit, Lawson’s Westborough franchise is making a difference throughout the region.
In this interview, Deborah Penta talks with Lawson about the debut and building of the region’s first Chick-fil-A, its philosophy & brand promise to the community, how it has strengthened the local economy, and what’s in store for the future.
This episode will begin airing on April 10, 2020 on Westborough TV and other regional channels, and will be available on demand through PENTA’s Top Growth YouTube Channel.
