PENTA CEO Interviews Bill Blass President on the Legendary American Iconic Brand’s Reemergence in the Global Market on Top Growth TV
(Westborough) – This February, viewers will not want to miss an exciting and provocative interview with Top Growth TV host Deborah Penta, CEO of PENTA Communications, Inc., and Stuart M. Goldblatt, President and COO of Bill Blass.
The show provides an inside look at the exciting rebranding of Bill Blass as it reemerges into the global market targeting a new demographic and equipped with an award-winning and spirited Creative Director, Chris Benz, who has been featured as a Forbes 30 Under 30. The Blass brand is catching the eye and interest of fashion editors all over the world as seen in Vogue and other major fashion and mainstream media.
Goldblatt, a respected fashion industry veteran who made a name for himself while positively impacting retail successes at Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, and Lord & Taylor, was selected to revive the Bill Blass™ brand for a new generation of global consumers. Goldblatt’s fashion and retail industry business acumen and reputation made him a perfect selection by the Bill Blass Board of Directors to bring the brand back to life.
“I hope viewers will enjoy this segment of Top Growth,” said Deborah Penta. “The reemergence of this iconic and legendary American brand that was so loved in the 70’s and 80’s is exciting for the fashion industry. It was such a pleasure to interview Stuart, who candidly shares how the brand is making its reappearance and the impetus behind its plans for success.”
“It is invigorating for me to have Top Growth as a platform to discuss emerging business strategy, attempts at business acceleration and the new world order, with the very informed and curious, Deborah Penta,” said Goldblatt.
Established in the 1970s, Bill Blass was once a leader in the fashion community. The brand became synonymous with elegant sportswear and unfussy, glamorous clothes that were coveted by women everywhere. Bill Blass was a favorite of First Ladies Jacqueline Kennedy and Nancy Reagan, and to celebrities including Barbara Walters and Liza Minnelli. After Mr. Blass passed away in 2002, and after a series of numerous leaders took the helm, the company eventually folded in 2007.
When the Bill Blass Board of Directors decided it was time to bring the brand back, they tapped Goldblatt, who is now leading the fashion brand’s re-entry into the market with a debut this past November in an exclusive online platform available to customers worldwide with shipping to over 68 countries. The launch included women’s ready-to-wear, handbags, accessories, and shoes designed by Creative Director Chris Benz.
