PENTA inspires hope for children in need
WESTBOROUGH _ For nearly 30 years, PENTA Communications, Inc. in Westborough, MA, has inspired hope for children with its numerous charitable endeavors, contributing over $2 million to a myriad of organizations. For the second consecutive year, the marketing firm is opening its doors as a drop-off location for Toys for Tots, an annual program that distributes new and unwrapped toys to less fortunate children during the holiday season.
In 2014, PENTA was one of the region’s most successful drop-off locations, generating over 200 toys for children in need. This year, the Company hopes to do more, as awareness grows in the boroughs, and as over 70,000 travelers that pass its Westborough headquarters on Route 9 see the drop-off signs on its front lawn.
“It truly takes a community of caring people,” said Deborah Penta, Founder and CEO of PENTA Communications, Inc. “Toys for Tots is a wonderful organization that creates joy for children and their families during the holidays each year and we are proud to support and be a part of this effort. We hope that by promoting our highly visible location as a drop-off location that people will find it easy and convenient to participate and to make a difference in brightening the lives of children.”
“Already, we’ve been inspired by several companies that have stepped up to contribute to our drive including Roche Bros. Supermarket, Love Those Nails Salon, The Highlands of Westborough, and Dan’s Jeep.” Penta said, “People can also bring their gifts to any of these locations as well, and it will contribute to the overall success of this effort.”
“PENTA is truly grateful to everyone who visits our offices and brings toys for our drive. The success of this effort is only made possible because of the generosity of so many caring people in our community,” said Penta.
Toys for Tots, an annual program administered by the United States Marine Corps Reserve, distributes new and unwrapped toys to less fortunate children during the holiday season. Every toy donated in the region is given to a child in need in the region and, therefore, the donations remain in Central Massachusetts.
Those wishing to make a donation to the program can bring a new and unwrapped toy to PENTA Communications, Inc. located on Route 9 East (208 Turnpike Road), Westborough, Massachusetts, between the hours of 9AM and 3PM Monday through Friday through December 4, 2015. If you would like to bring your donations at another time, please call (508) 616-9900 (125).
