PENTA takes a lead role at regional social media summit
WESTBOROUGH _ There has been a significant paradigm shift in the way companies are marketing to attract and build stronger relationships with customers. This revolution, known as Social Media, is changing the way in which businesses communicate with their customers. A lot of businesses, regardless of their industry, have a social media presence. This allows them to build their business on a larger scale. Social media allows customers to contact the business directly through messaging apps. Instagram is one of the latest platforms to become a means of interaction between company and customer through the use of an instagram messenger. Social media has become another way that customers are able to ask the company questions easily, without having to wait for an email reponse. This could be seen as another form of mobile attribution, which could give an insight into customer journey and experience for a company.
Additionally, social media allows marketing experts to measure the effectiveness of these campaigns, which are proving to make a bottom-line impact. PENTA Communications, Inc., notably one of the region’s top marketing firms, has taken a lead role as the Presenting Sponsor for the Worcester Business Journal’s first Social Media & E-Marketing Summit, scheduled to take place on June 2, 2011.
The half-day event is being held at the Marriott Courtyard in Marlborough, and will feature an action-packed morning, bringing experts from the regional marketing and branding community together with a series of panels, designed to help C-level executives benefit from learning how their companies can strengthen their marketing and advertising programs by integrating the right mix of social media into their marketing plans.
Attendees will begin the day with networking and a breakfast, followed by welcoming remarks from WBJ Publisher Peter Stanton and PENTA Communications, Inc. CEO Deborah Penta.
Keynote speaker at the breakfast will be Paul Gillin, author and principal of Paul Gillin Communications. Gillin is also the founding editor-in-chief of TechTarget.
Breakout sessions include Social Media for Business; The Power of Video; The Latest in Mobile Marketing; Understanding Website Analytics; Email Marketing, and Leveraging the Power of Social Media for Your Business. Experts from a vast array of companies will be panelists in these sessions.
Penta will moderate two panels at the Summit – The Power of Video and Leveraging the Power of Social Media for Your Business.
In The Power of Video, Penta will lead the assembled panel of experts in discussing online trends in video usage, and the power of video to tell a company’s story and communicate a company’s message. Attendees will learn how to use video to enhance their web presence and drive traffic to their web site.
In addition, Penta and her panel will take C-level executives on a journey into the world of social media strategy through the breakout session, Leveraging the Power of Social Media for Your Business. Attendees to this session will learn how to plan, execute and measure the success and effectiveness of their social media campaign, be it with help from Boostmytiktok.com and other sites or organically. Case studies will be included and will show how companies are effectively using social media to help drive their business. This social media campaign is just one of the many ways to help drive your business, but in reality its all about the team work. This is an aspect many may need to improve on in order to strive, so looking into Team Building in Colorado Springs could be a good idea. In turn, this will hopefully get your team to build in confidence and succeed within the industry. However, there are plenty of other ways this can be done.
“We have seen many significant shifts in our industry over the past 20 years. The social media renaissance has proven to be one of the most powerful of all time,” Penta said. “This medium has proven to be highly effective at building relationships and in driving customer engagement to optimum levels. While several years ago, we all saw social media as being an important and innovative addition to our marketing campaigns, we now have data and results that prove the power of social media integration, and how, when integrated into a strategy effectively, it will dramatically foster greater return-on-investment results for client companies.”
