PENTA CEO Speaks on the Power of Charitable Giving at Leading Industry Conference
WESTBOROUGH _ PENTA Communications, Inc. CEO Deborah Penta will be a featured speaker at the 2008 New England Foodservice & Lodging Conference, the largest trade-only conference serving the New England market. With hundreds of exhibits displaying thousands of products and services for restaurants, institutional foodservice, catering, retail, and hotel/motel, this has become the must-attend regional food industry event of the year.
The Conference will be held on April 6-8, 2008 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, located at 415 Summer Street in Boston’s Seaport District and conference officials expect thousands of attendees from all over New England.
“Deborah Penta is a returning speaker for this Conference. Her previous programs have received high marks with attendees and we are pleased that she will be speaking for us again this year,” said Peter Christie, president of the Massachusetts Restaurant Association. “Our organization has a strong partnership with PENTA Communications, Inc. and continues to raise the bar with cutting-edge marketing solutions and results-orientated strategies. In this day and age, organizations need expertise in many different communication areas in order to build their brands and communicate to their various audiences and PENTA Communications, Inc. proves to be a leader in this area.”
Penta will be presenting a seminar entitled Unleashing the Power of Charitable Give-Back: Making Cause-Related Marketing Work for Your Business on Monday, April 7.
“Companies gain more visibility and respect as a community partner when they engage in charitable give-back. Food industry executives will learn how to leverage the power of charitable give-back and how to strategically develop a giving plan compatible with their organizational and community values,” Penta said.
Penta will share how she’s guided her organization and client companies to help charitable organizations through hosting events, programs and developing innovative customer-centric marketing practices to raise funds for charities and build stronger communities. Attendees will learn how to make strategic decisions regarding donations, and understand why the establishment of a charitable giving budget is important.
“We are embarking on a new shift where there is an emergence of social entrepreneurs recognizing the value in giving back to the world at whatever level they can – whether they can give millions or thousands annually,” Penta continued. “Many of the CEOs I have worked with and coached in this realm are pleasantly surprised to find that they gain such meaningful personal fulfi llment from the establishment of charitable give-back programs, and through the integration of cause-related marketing in their businesses.”
